DLI Membership Pays Significant Savings

New 2022 Package Delivers Gift Certificates from Popular Vendors Worth $470+

Drycleaning & Laundry Institute membership saves members money.  Not intangible money but actual savings in the form of gift certificates from popular industry companies. Members of DLI’s Board of Directors invited Allied Trades Members, industry service providers, suppliers, and manufacturers who support the industry and Institute, to provide direct discounts on products members buy and use regularly.

“This group of industry leaders believe in the industry and the association so much they are willing to share direct discounts on their products and services with DLI members,” said Bobby Patel, DLI President and owner of Kona Cleaners in Orange, California and BeCreative360, an industry marketing firm. “This is a significant amount in savings.”

The DLI Membership Pays package includes significant savings on everyday purchases, service subscriptions, and capital investments such as finishing equipment and drycleaning machines. Gift certificates shared by participating Allied Trades companies are valid for one year after the date of beginning membership with DLI.

“Members buy products and services from these industry providers on a regular basis, so these savings will go straight to their bottom lines,” said Kyle Nesbit, DLI District Six Director and SVP of Business Development at Edit TX LLC, a Tide Cleaners franchisee in Houston, Texas. “Membership actually pays you back with this package and that does not include some of DLI’s less-tangible benefits like instant on-call technical help, drycleaning courses, training webinars, networking opportunities, free marketing news and pieces, our On-Demand Webinar library, Encyclopedia of Drycleaning, free legal and human resources consultations, and more.”

Strength in Unity

DLI and participating Allied Trades Members understand the importance of a healthy industry. “Allied Trades companies are stepping up to help DLI’s  members through these challenging times,” said Bill Odorizzi, Former DLI Allied Trades Director and Senior Consultant for Sankosha USA. “By doing this we’re helping to unite the industry so we may all enjoy a more prosperous     future together.”

“DLI was founded in the spirit of cooperation to advance the industry,” said Mary Scalco, DLI’s CEO. “Almost 140 years ago, DLI’s founders created the world’s most advanced network of cleaners, suppliers, manufacturers, and other service providers to give members an advantage in a challenging market. With this program we are honoring the spirit of our foundation and providing even more value for membership in DLI  than ever.”

As a not-for-profit agency, DLI exists to help drycleaning business owners excel in a challenging industry. DLI membership provides a competitive edge to professional cleaners with a constant flow of technical and practical industry information and connection to DLI’s vast network of industry and business experts, among other benefits and services.

Special Delivery

Members will receive their packages shortly after renewing membership with the Institute. Each discount package is valid for one year.

“This package offers real discounts members can use to collect an immediate return on their investment in DLI membership,” said Jon Meijer, DLI Membership Director. “If you’re in the market for new equipment or supplies, (and who isn’t?), you’ll find a great value in this package.”

To all the members who have been with us for many years and those who recently joined: we appreciate your support and will work, always, to better your membership value any way we can. All of us at DLI are always working to enhance DLI’s value for every member. Please tell us how we can better help you and we’ll carefully consider your comments.”
